Texas and New Jersey State Teacher Certification

Former Peace Corps Volunteer in Sierra Leone

Thirty-two years’ teaching experience; twenty in Sierra  Leone; twelve in Texas

One of fifteen participants in 1994 National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) Summer Seminar at Wellesley College, studying Classic Caribbean Literature
